IF ONE was to describe the General Assembly 2022, it would be a grand celebration. Not just among the previous member schools, who, once again, were brought together by the Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA), but also a grand celebration to recognize its new member and affiliate schools across the country December 18, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. via Facebook Live. Celebrating 36 years of marketing excellence with this year’s theme, “The Spark of Wit and Breakthroughs”, the general assembly focused on imparting business and marketing students with knowledge on how they can prepare to enter the corporate world, succeed in the field they choose, and find their own spark in a dynamic industry.
As the largest student-led marketing organization, PJMA intended to honor the affiliates and collaborate with the members of the federation for the Academic Year 2022 – 2023 through the General Assembly. The annual conference highlighted the mission, vision, and objectives of PJMA and the recognition of all member schools across the nation.
The conference hosted three talks that emphasized establishing the path towards great success as a marketing student. The gathering got off to a marvelous start as keynote speaker and head of talent acquisition of the Primer Group of Companies, Christie Aura Marie Ilano, highlighted authenticity and uniqueness in her talk, “Beaming the Path to Self-Branding.”
